Since summer of 2013, our goal is to promote the french and japanese cultures through the twin cities friendship between Amboise and Suwa (Japan).
This friendship was created in 1987 and was revived by an official meeting in Amboise during June 2012.
It was then decided to try to give a new breath to this initiative by creating a friendship committee (association) which was born the next year.
Our organization want to act on both sides:
- by allowing Amboise's citizens to learn more about japanese culture.
- help Suwa's inhabitants to know about the french culture and specifically the Loire Valley's.
This page will soon be populated by events' schedules and news about Amboise's life. We hope to be able to communicate information in Japanese soon.
